Preparing and implementing annual Sales & Marketing plans
Create brand awareness amongst high end bespoke travel agents and publishing industry focusing on leisure and travel
Provides on-going sales direction to maximise potential revenue from the identified geographical markets
Solicit new business regionally
Promotes the resort as often as possible by means of e-mail blitz, sales calls and site inspections
Manages the marketing budget to enable the development of the property specific campaigns, promotions to drive revenue and meet property objectives.
Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share
Researches competitor’s strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR. Adopt a keen sense of market place intelligence
Maintains efficient sales office procedures and ensures the maintenance of accurate and updated account files and follow-up procedures.
Makes face-to- face sales calls.
Maintains all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, conference calendar, traces of history and potentials, logs of groups not previously accommodated and mailing lists.
Arrange and schedule activities for guests as required
Trace relevant statistics about guests
Assist with check-ins / check-outs of guests
Greet Guests upon arrival and departure
Assist staff with language and culture
Assist with translations ( information: guest directory, website, menus etc.) as required
Provide feedback from the Guests to Management for the appropriate follow up
Coordinate reservations enquiries with contracted agents
Coordinate events with event organizers or clients directly
Processes reservations by mail, telephone, or central reservation systems referral.
Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.
Assists in pre-registration activities when appropriate.
Open and close the availability as and when required of hotel in all the GDS channels, IDS channels and on the hotel website.
Configuring rates on the hotels property management system.
Kept informed about the operations especially in key departments such as the Villa & F & B departments
Follow the resort policy and staff handbook
Will be required to conduct his duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the company policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.
Will be required to adhere to and support all company related policies and procedures.
Attend any training sessions as requested by Management
To check and fill the relevant log book and check communication board
To assist Management in any assigned task that may be required when requested
Bachelor or Master in Marketing, Business Administration or related filed
Minimum of 8 years experiences in sale and marketing from hotel/hospitality industry
Proven track record in sales and marketing from hotel industry
