Set up and own all global inventory management activities and processes in a complex multi-tiered supply chain.
Address escalations by providing timely response and effective corrective action plans.
Establish best practice processes and implement procedures or systems to ensure documentation and adherence.
Interface with internal/external auditors to explain processes and procedures.
Generate presentation materials for executive meetings: Inventory metrics and forecast, E&O analysis, project plans, etc.
Monitor inventory performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving.
Drives problem solving during escalations to quickly eliminate inventory problems.
Develop global processes for proactive E&O risk management and for evaluating quarterly E&O exposures in concert with finance.
Drive meaningful E&O Pareto through effective root cause analysis that translate historical data analysis and contextual commentary into standard inventory driver categories.
Drive inventory turns and E&O improvement plans, assign actions and ownership across cross-functional teams between supply chain operations, PLM, sales and customer service operations
Recommend and drive improvement initiatives for RMA management, WO aging, min/max planning, pre-build approvals.
Manage the Corporate Inventory and S&OE calendar and process. Work cross functionally to improve the processes. Develop effective measures to gauge success. Establish roadmap for continuous improvement.
Drive cultural change, infusing continuous improvement methodology and knowledge, and influencing decisions at all levels of the organization.
Cultivates a strong customer focus, sets goals, monitors progress, and implements corrective actions as needed.
Mentor/coach operational talent across the business to ensure the organization is developing a bench and operational leadership pipeline.
Selects, motivates, and retain personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
BA/BS or equivalent in business, accounting, supply chain, engineering or a related field, Masters (MBA or other Advanced Business degree)
At least 5 years working with ERP planning and inventory modules.
Strong business acumen and finance skills to ensure accurate reporting of gross and reserved inventory.
Minimum 5 years management experience, leading global teams
Fluent in English language skills, spoken and written
Ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization; has outstanding communication skills and is able to drive others to achieve key outcomes as well as to inspire different functional groups to exceed goals
Strong problem-solving ability and process improvement experience. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish results.
