Understand and apply engineering standards, processes and best
Develop new engineering standards, processes and best practices when
Independently perform, and assist other electrical and software
engineers in specifying, designing, documenting, testing, and
troubleshooting changes to existing products.
Be very knowledgeable in the following design areas: RF and power
Evaluate and measure design change impact to EMI and other
Mentor other Electrical Engineering department members in developing
their design skills.
Assist Production in resolving design-related issues. Research solutions
and prepare documentation as required.
Develop documentation, flowcharts, and diagrams to support problem
Work with other engineers and departments to research potential useful
or alternate components
Participate in requirements, design, and source code reviews.
Support Customer Service and Repair by training and by providing
Identify and implement opportunities for electrical development cycle time
Assist other members of the maintenance team to debug and
troubleshoot reported issues.
Coordination with product design owner for manufacturing sustaining
Support manufacturing teams to optimize designs, improve processes;
reduce parts count, manufacturing costs, and assembly error and other
factors that affects cost, and quality including tools and equipment.
Troubleshoot and solve design and integration issues.
Support customers, suppliers and internal teams to review design for
Drive design changes by managing Engineering Change Requests
and Drawing Change Notices.
Provide and implement technical solutions and obtain customers
Maintain design control and use company’s PLM and processes.
Prepare test setups and develop test reports.
Contribute to Material Review Board and create rejection tags
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
Over 5 years of applicable experience is required.
Demonstrated ability as a self-starter
Willingness to learn new skills and develop existing one
Strong understanding and working experience with Microsoft Project
and Microsoft Office Tools
Good presentation, communication, and training skills
Ability to multi-task and assess priorities in a complex and demanding
Ability to cooperate with other team members
Knowledge in sustaining products will be advantage.
Experience in the field of Aerospace is preferable.
