บริษัท อดิตยา เบอร์ล่า เคมีคัลส์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด (อีพอกซี่ ดีวิชั่น) ซึ่งมีศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ของตนเอง เพื่อพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ "ในกลุ่มอีพอกซี่เรซิน" และผลิตภัณฑ์ในกลุ่มสารยึดผิว เป็นผู้ผลิตรายเดียวในประเทศไทยและในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ซึ่งมีการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีเป็นของตนเอง ในชื่อการค้า “EPOTEC” จึงจำป็นต้องขยายการลงทุนเพื่อสนองตอบความต้องการใช้อีพอกซี่เรซิน ซึ่งเป็นวัตถุดิบสำคัญในอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตใบกังหันเพื่อใช้ในการผลิตไฟฟ้า ซึ่งมีความต้องการใช้เรซินเพิ่มขึ้นประมาณ 20% ดังนั้น อีพอกซี่เรซินที่ผสมจากบริษัทฯ จึงถือว่าเป็นวัตุดิบประเภทหนึ่งซึ่งมีส่วนช่วยส่งเสริมให้มีการใช้พลังงานที่สะอาดและไม่ก่อให้เกิดมลภาวะ และผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผลิตได้จากโครงการนี้จะส่งออกจำหน่ายในต่างประเทศประมาณ 95% ของความสามารถในการผลิตทั้งหมด ส่วนที่เหลืออีก 5% จะจำหน่ายในประเทศ
