About Company
Impress Ethanol Co. Ltd is about to begin construction of a 200,000 liters per day ethanol production facility in Chachaengsoa province, Thailand. Impress is majority owned by FE Clean Energy Group, an international private equity fund which invests in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors. FE Clean Energy manages more than US$400 million in assets globally which include hydro power portfolios in India and China, bio-ethanol and bio-energy production businesses in the Philippines, biomass cogeneration facilities in Thailand and Singapore and district heating and energy service businesses in Europe and Latin America.
Impress Ethanol has also established a cassava plantation business which will farm cassava as a source of feedstock for ethanol production. The plantation area under management is 6,500 rai and this will shortly be expanded to 10,000 rai.
