Ionique Co., Ltd.

Ionique Group (IG) is a joint-venture company with participants from Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand.

Since 1999 in Philippines, IG has developed a range of liquid and solid organic fertilizers and other organic products for agricultural use. In line with current world movement towards organic farming, IG has deliberately stayed away from the use of chemicals.

IG was keen to extend its technology, manufacturing processes and product distribution to other Asian countries quickly. Thailand, presented an excellent market opportunity for IG’s range of organic products.

Already a significant agricultural country in Asia, Thailand’s government officially supported a reduction in the use of chemicals in agriculture. Considering that, plus the good positive feedback for IG products from the Thai farmers, IG decided to establish a manufacturing plant in Thailand to produce its organic products locally.

Ionique Co., Ltd. (ICL) was therefore established in Thailand on December, 2004. Shareholders are IG and several Thai groups.

Sales and distribution of ICL organic products commenced in April 2005.

The initial product of the company was the Double Eagle organic liquid fertilizer for agricultural produce such as rice, fruits, flowers, and vegetables. A gold blend fertilizer service for special crop &/or soil condition is also available.

The total range of organic fertilizers and other organic products to grow the soil, and to nourish and protect the plant from diseases and pests, will be progressively introduced during 2005.

JV Operations in other countries will soon follow this successful JV in Thailand.
