Company History 

 

 

1993 - Primus Company Limited is established on February 6, 1993. we import products from Europe and Japan into Thailand, and distribute them to various industries under the brands CELDUC, ECOFIT, TOHO and OPTEX. 

 

 

 

 

 

1994- An in-house Research & Development team is created to start designing proprietary products for industrial applications. The first device is an over current protection and timer in under the trademark PRIMUS. Later The product range is extended with the addition of automatic control instruments, signal converters, temperature sensors and counting machines etc. 

 

 

1995- Production Department 1 is set up to manufacture electrical equipment and control instruments for various industrial applications, notably digital indicators for measuring speed, temperature, voltage and current. 

 

 

2000- Production Department 2 is set up to manufacture heaters, thermocouples and water level sensors for industrial applications. Field assembly teams are created for machine installation and commissioning at customer’s sites. An employee training program is set up with several Malaysian companies to further enhance in-house skills and know-how. 

 

 

2005- A Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line is installed at Production Department 1, replacing manual assembly with a modern automated process, a key step in order to obtain standard and fast manufacturing.  

 

 

 

 

2005 – Primus Co. Ltd becomes ISO 9001: 2000 certified, reflecting the ability of quality management system to consistently provide products that meet customer requirements. 

 

 

2007- A first branch outside Bangkok is opened under the name “Primus Co., Ltd., Chonburi Branch”. 

 

 

2008- Production Department 3 is set up to manufacture of air conditioners, specially it’s designed for temperature and humidity control inside cabinet control boxes. 

 

2009- Three more branches are opened in Pathum Thani , Samut Prakan and Rama 2. 

 

 

 

 

2011- All production lines are incorporated into subsidiaries under the name "Primus Company Limited". Investment support is requested from the BOI on 27 December 2011. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2011- Primus Company Ltd receives the CE marking certification, indicating conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within Europe. 

 

 

2014- Primus Co. Ltd becomes ISO 9001: 2008 certified, emphasizing the company’s commitment to provide outstanding customer service. 

 

 

2014-Production Department 1 receives the 5S Model Award 2014, recognizing efforts to consistently improve workplace environment 

 

2017- Production Department 2 and 3 receive 5S Model Award 2017.
