Staedtler (Thailand) Ltd. was established in 1989 as a subsidiary of the Staedtler Group of companies from
Germany. Staedtler writing and drafting instruments have been available locally for decades. To serve our Thai clients in more depth and supply products that suit the taste of our local customer base a Thai subsidiary was established to marketing and distribute the wide range of high quality products throughout the Kingdom of Thailand. Two manufacturing plants were added utilizing latest technology from Germany. This has enabled Staedtler to supply excellent writing products to the local market and adapt to the ever increasing demand of the Thai consumer for high quality writing instruments.

Staedtler Thailand had been very successful over the years in expanding its business and serving almost every
customer group in the Kingdom, from wholesalers and retailers to modern trade outlets. The sales organization is represented in every province in Thailand and established a reputation of excellence in service. As a consequence sales volumes have increased by over 400% after establishing the marketing company. Even at the difficult times after the recent economic crisis the company could produce healthy profits and guarantee sound employment opportunities for its Thai staff.
