AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited

Since listed the 1st section on Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1994, AEON Credit Service Japan, the major shareholder of the Company, is a leader of credit card business operator in Japan and currently provides financial services, including credit card, personal loan, and other services. Following its success in the Japanese market, AEON Credit Service Japan has expanded its business to other Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China (Shenzhen), Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines respectively. Currently, a representative office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is under the process of applying for Microfinance Institution License and expected to start hire purchase business in 2011.

At present, the Company’s principal business activity is the provision of a variety of retail finance services, including credit card, hire purchase, personal loan and others. The core business, which generated most revenue for the Company in the past year, is credit card and personal loan business, representing 41% and 37% of total revenues, respectively and the hire purchase business, representing around 13% of total revenues.

As at February 20, 2011, the Company had accumulative number of active customer accounts approximately 2.86 million accounts. Accumulated number of card issued was 5.82 million cards; 1.92 million credit cards and 3.90 million member cards. The Company had 83 branches nationwide and 320 ATMs in Bangkok and provinces for customers’ convenience
