• Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy, availability, and adherence to minimum stock requirements.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and safety.
2. Inventory Control & Accuracy
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory to ensure data accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
• Implement procedures to minimize stock loss, damage, or obsolescence.
• Monitor for potential out-of-stock situations and escalate or resolve them promptly.
3. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations.
• Promote a safe working environment; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials if applicable.
4. Team Leadership & Development
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse personnel.
• Set clear performance expectations, conduct appraisals, and coach team members.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high productivity.
5. Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, warehouse operations, and KPIs.
• Report on minimum stock levels, inventory shortages, and any out-of-stock risks.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Support audits, inspections, and management reviews as required.
