Job Descriptions:
Independently drive the expansion, maintenance, further development and updating company’s internal control system and the associated documentation.
Actively monitor and review internal control system, including compliance and elimination of deviations.
Coordinate and execute the annual assessment conducted by Nitto Group to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.
Work collaboratively with process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts that result from internal control assessments, ensuring the effective implementation of corrective action to have adequate controls in place.
Represent the point of contact for topics related to internal control.
Deliver adequate and timely reporting on internal control and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to senior management and internal control committee.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
2+ years in a similar position.
CIA certification is a plus.
Fluent in English. Japanese language skill is an advantage.
Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks (J-Sox is a plus) and financial reporting processes.
Strong analytical skills include the ability to spot, assess and address risk, materiality and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for the financial reporting and recommendations for improvement.
Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentational skills.
Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Striving for continuous improvement.
Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.
Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
