Basic Requirements

Responsibilities

• Client Consultation & Requirement Gathering:

- Join the Sales team in meetings with clients (homeowners, designers, or developers) to understand their vision, budget, and functional needs.

- Conduct site surveys or review architectural plans to identify spatial constraints.

• Design Development & 3D Visualization:

- Create high-quality 3D renderings, mood boards, and material selections to present to clients.

- Ensure the design concept aligns with current trends and the client’s lifestyle.

- Project Timeline Management: Manage the design schedule for multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring 3D drafts and revisions are delivered by the promised deadlines.

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM):

- The Critical Link: Adjust and refine design details to ensure they fit our production logic (panel processing) and installation standards without compromising the look.

- Select appropriate hardware (fittings, runners, hinges) and materials (MFC, MDF, HPL, Stone) that align with our inventory and capabilities.

• Technical Hand-off:

- Produce clear preliminary shop drawings, floor plans, and elevations.

- Hand off these drawings to our Furniture Designers for detailed engineering and BOM creation.

- Review the final production drawings to ensure the design intent remains intact.

• R&D and Trends:

- Stay updated on global interior design trends, new surface materials, and smart home fittings.

- Assist in developing new "Standard Collections" or prototype designs for the company catalog.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• 3-7 years of experience in interior design, specifically with built-in furniture, kitchen planning, or wardrobe systems.

• Proficiency in design software: SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering tools (V-Ray, Enscape, or similar).

• Experience with specialized furniture software (e.g., Coohom, Homag iX, or Imos) is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, fittings (Blum, Hafele, etc.), and construction details.

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.

• Ability to balance aesthetics with budget and structural limitations.

• Excellent communication skills to present ideas confidently to customers.
