Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency. This includes supervising the receipt, storage, preparation, and shipment of goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels. They oversee safe stock movement, lead the warehouse team to comply with company policies and standards, coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, and uphold safety standards within the warehouse. Additionally, they support staff training and development to improve overall team performance.
The ideal candidate should have experience in stock control, warehouse operations, and inventory management, with strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Control & Inventory Management
• Supervise and oversee daily stock movements, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure accurate stock records, inventory transactions, and data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)/ Odoo system.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Conduct stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, variances, and damages.
2. Warehouse Operations & Stock Coordination
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, procurement, and sales departments to align stock availability with demand.
• Ensure stock is properly labeled, categorized, and stored for easy accessibility.
• Work closely with logistics teams to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) FEFO (First-Expire, First-Out) and other inventory management techniques.
3. Process Improvement & Efficiency Optimization
• Identify and implement improvements in stock management processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the automation of stock tracking and inventory control using WMS/ERP systems.
• Monitor and improve stock replenishment procedures to avoid delays or out of stock.
• Review and update Procedure/ Work instruction/ Form related to the operation task of warehouse department.
4. Compliance & Safety Standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse best practices, and safety regulations.
• Maintain stock quality control and ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of goods.
• Enforce GHPs, HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant warehouse safety and food storage standards
5. Team Supervision & Training
• Responsible for supervising and providing professional guidance to staff when encountering work-related problems or operational issues.
• Train warehouse staff on stock control procedures, work instruction, data entry, and inventory management best practices.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure the warehouse team operates efficiently.
6. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain and generate stock reports, inventory performance summaries, and warehouse KPIs.
• Prepare stock movement reports for management, procurement, and finance teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of stock transactions, returns, and adjustments.
