The Sourcing & Business Development will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing biomass feedstock while developing and expanding sales and business opportunities for our biomass portfolio. This role combines strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and market development to ensure Berkana Power’s position as a top provider in the biomass sector both locally and abroad.
• *Sourcing & Supply Chain Management:*
- Identify and evaluate potential biomass suppliers in Thailand and key international markets.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to secure reliable, high-quality biomass feedstock.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, sustainability, and timely delivery.
• *Business Development & Sales:*
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to expand our biomass market share domestically and internationally.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, including joint ventures and long-term supply agreements, including potential renewable project if any
- Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure.
• *Market Analysis & Strategy:*
- Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the biomass and renewable energy sectors.
- Develop pricing strategies and business models that optimize profitability and competitiveness in diverse markets.
• *Stakeholder & Relationship Management:*
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners.
- Represent Berkana Power at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish market leadership.
• *Cross-Functional Collaboration: *
- Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, and technical services to ensure seamless execution of sourcing and business development initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic updates to senior management.
