Accounting Manager
Purple Ventures Company Limited (Robinhood)- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement and other necessary reports.
- Performs the job in the accounting department as: following and checking on bank transaction, payment transfer, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoice; and input data into accounting software.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
- Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e., GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and internal control systems.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols, including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.
- Apply and implement new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines, especially a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures.
- Monitor and maintain a new audit system by implementing new policies and procedures in the finance department.
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
- Assist and act as the primary point of contact for auditor requests.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.

- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in accounting.
- Resourceful, open-minded, adopts a growth mindset, works well under pressure, perseveres.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Experience in financial systems.
- Communications and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment.
- Must have a hands-on / execution approach.
- Able to work cohesively, detail-oriented, organized with the ability to multi-task.
