JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Maintenance Section Manager would be key person who to implement a new mindset through the Maintenance Team in order to achieve high availability of machine at best cost and on a sustainable way.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety.
- Giving priority to all aspects of health, safety & environmental issues, working closely with and supporting works representatives, ensuring that operators, temporary employees & contractors comply with all site rules. Attending quality, EHS and production meetings, reporting on any relevant issues and responding on any action items in a timely manner.
Maintenance System.
- Implement the four pillars of maintenance.
- Develop a Planed Preventive Maintenance schedules, ensure full preventive maintenance is carry out, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
- Optimize equipment accordingly to standard procedure, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)
- Detailed planning for all job and all workers
- Innovative thinking with consideration given to all opportunities to improve availability of the machines.
- Ensure that up to date and accurate MTC documentation , records and operator manuals are kept. - Define all the specifications and volume of required spare parts and consumables for reliable operations.
- Reports all the required figures on database and improve the performance based on data analysis.
- Implement the step change of MTC mindset and current policy through strong leadership management.
Improvement
- Design, modify and improve machinery and production processes, both existing and new installations for the production of appropriate and effective engineering.
- Design process by utilize drawing software as appropriate and Select the appropriate machine to deployment and meet requirement engineering.
- Improve production process for maximum performance and reduce costs and waste. - Recommendations on the choice and the opportunity to use other types of equipment that may be more appropriate than those used today.
- Best Practice development and execution.
- Primary contact with suppliers for the concerned processes.
- Establish and implement global key performance indicators.
- Collect of data, loss of work and other costs of the equipment and processes to be analyzed to process improvement.
- Suggest alternatives or other mineral composition or mechanical or other procedures that may be more efficiency.
Management.
- Manage the operation within Company Terms & Conditions.
- Building and leading successful work-teams, coaching and organizing all operatives in high standards of quality, accountability and MTC operation.
- Organize and plan, holiday arrangements, training and sickness cover ensuring that the plant is always maintained by trained personnel.
