• Analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
• Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
• Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better delivery, quality, services and prices
• Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets customer demands
• Liaise with Business Development teams to determine competitive pricing for quoting new businesses
• Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories
• Manage flow down demand and if necessary, provide forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory to serve
• Responsible of budget development and control for categories
• Proven experience as category procurement manager or similar role
• Solid knowledge of category management and supply chain principles
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in MS Office
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent communication and people skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
• CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, CPP or other related Supply Chain professional qualified would be preference

We are principally a manufacturer of aerofoils, aluminium and hard metal structural parts, and premium aircraft-seat structures. Some of the parts we manufacture include platform components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350, as well as engine/structure components for Boeing 737, 767, 777, and 787. On top of being AS9100 and NADCAP certified, we are also a certified supplier of Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce, MTU Aero Engines, Pratt & Whitney Canada, GKN Aerospace, Spirit Aerosystems, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Subaru, and Safran Group.
