PurposeDevelops manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, cost analysis systems and involves in new product implementation to promote efficient engineering, facility and staff utilization including coordinates and implements quality control objectives and activities.
• Design utilization of facilities, equipment, materials including conducting tests and evaluates integrated systems to manage industrial production processes and improves efficiency of production operations.
• Creates work instruction and tree diagram for support production
• Reviews production schedule, engineering specifications, orders
• Drafts and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using tools
• Time studies and work measurement for standard time update both of assembly process and injection parts
• Monitors and improves manufacturing processes and ensure all products meet customer specification
• Analyzes problems to find out root cause and take actions within a time frame that maintains customer satisfaction.
• Reviews specification and/or requirement from Production, Quality Control, Sales, Marketing and or related parties and notify or contact them right away if any failure observed.
• Estimates production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control
• Confers with related parties and superiors regarding product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
• Plans and designs new production processes. Produces details of specifications and outline designs
• Regulates and alters workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations
• Follows up and evaluates new project including making conclusion of the result
• Discusses and solves problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers;
• Records or oversees recording of information to ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems
• Complete production reports and lists of material, tool, and equipment
• Quality control cooperation activity
o Coordinates and/or leads for productivity improvement activity such as KAIZEN, 5S and/or others projects that implemented in the Company.
o Evaluates precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment and engineering drawing to formulate corrective action plan.
o Implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts, and assess cost and responsibility.
o Works closely with production workers who engaged in product measurement, inspection and testing activities to ensure quality control and reliability.
• Coordinates and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
