Job Summary
The job holder is the Financial and Controlling Manager at ECCO Tannery (Thailand), reporting to the Managing Director. He/ She is responsible, comprising but not limiting to Financial controlling and Accounting Flow to relevant functions etc.
This position is expected to provide sound Financial controlling to the Unit's management team as well as global in a strategic decision making to ensure high level of operation efficiency.
Financial Management Responsibilities
• Primarily responsible for the management and development of all the teams under the Financial Controlling/Accounting and relate Department within the factory. Provide consistent, homogeny and clear directions to subordinates and responsible for their functional activities;
• Responsible for overall Financial and relate function with an efficiency and operation capability. Ensure day-to-day schedules are set for optimal par levels and timely delivery of operation;
• Direct all tasks under the financial and relate division within the confinement of the Group’s COC, guidelines, system and procedures and in accordance with local law and regulations;
• Apply knowledge of processes, in-depth analysis and system capability to lead the financial function to ensure that all functioned are formed as efficiently as possible, on time, minimizing cost and with driven superior quality;
• Ensure the unit has a continuous performance and process improvement program with being carried out maximizing quality, delivery and cost performance;
• Safeguard the company’s financial and non-financial assets;
• Define, monitor and manage annual operating plans and budget for the unit, including planning, forecasting and capacity management processes to achieve optimum production output etc. Lead problem-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings. Coordinate issues of mutual impact with other production units and HQ;
• Participate in HQ’s conferences as required;
• Participate in and contribute to board meetings;
• Cooperate with other division directors and foster teamwork among division managers to achieve set business goals
Competent Financial Pipeline Building
• Primarily responsible for the competency of the Financial positions in the factory.
• Ensure there is a constant staff development to ensure the financial/others line has the right number of people with the right skills, experience and competence in the right positions at the right time to do the right things.
• Supervise, train, develop and evaluate various direct reports, co-ordinate communication and cooperate between team departments.
• Any other company projects and tasks assigned where necessary.
