The selected candidate will take part in Solar PV/Hybrid engineering projects ranging from early development phases to project implementation mainly in an Owner Engineer’s context. In this function you will form an integral part of the ILF Renewable Energy engineering team and will report directly to the Project Management as well as the Renewable Energy Business Line Manager.

The anticipated tasks shall include but are not limited to the following:

• Bring an active technical support (under the supervision of a project manager) to Solar PV/hybrid engineering designs, Feasibility studies, Conceptual designs, Tender support services, Bid evaluation, Solar energy yield assessment, Design vetting, Verification of performance testing and O&M advisory.

• Conducting techno-economic PV design studies including solar PV power plant sizing, solar resource assessment, energy yield assessment including uncertainty analysis and up to financial modelling. Conducting agile and iterative design processes to link the technical and financial aspects of a project and varying sizing parameters with a focus on financial KPIs optimization.

• Due Diligence Studies for Solar PV/Hybrid projects including the review of the relevant project contracts such as PPA, EPC contract, O&M contract, etc.

• Support on proposals preparation.

• Conducting site visits

คุณสมบัติ

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably Master’s degree. Renewable/solar energy or power generation would be a plus.

• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience with international companies in Solar PV/Solar Hybrid Energy projects, preferably in an engineering design role. Experience in solar PV projects is a must.

Master’s degree in renewable energy without any working experiences is also acceptable.

• Profound report writing abilities and confident communication skills in English language are a must.

• Proficiency in PVsyst is a strong plus. Experience in pvDesign, SAM, Helios 3D or HOMER is a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word and MS Powerpoint, ability to generate documents following defined formatting rules.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and some basic VBA knowledge are a strong plus.

• Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.

• On-site experience with solar PV projects is a plus.

• Ability to work in multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrating a high level of intercultural competence.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel in SE Asia (including limited periods on site) is expected.
