Located at Asia Industrial Estate, Banchang, Rayong Province, Thailand, Indorama Petrochem Limited (IRPL-PTA) produces Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) – a raw material used in production of polyester resin which is used in the manufacture of polyester film, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin, and polyester fiber. Our plant’s production capacity is approx. 771,000 MT per annum making it one the largest single-line PTA production facilities in the world. Our PTA production facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology is environmentally friendly. We not only provides raw material to IVL’s PET and polyester business operations but supplies PTA to our customers worldwide.
