Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities


Consult with clients to understand their kitchen design needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.


Create custom kitchen layouts using CAD software or other design tools (e.g., 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp).


Recommend materials, finishes, appliances, and fixtures to suit client budgets and style preferences.


Prepare detailed design plans, presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings.


Work closely with sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.


Revise designs based on client feedback and technical feasibility.


Stay up to date with the latest kitchen design trends, materials, and technologies and keep updated to learn kitchen supplier software kitchen design programs.


Maintain accurate project documentation and manage client communications throughout the design process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or Interior Designer with a focus on kitchen spaces.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).

Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and building codes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.

Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Experience with high-end or luxury kitchen designs.
