Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging concepts for new and existing products, focusing on functionality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create detailed 2D/3D drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for packaging designs.
- Conduct packaging tests to ensure durability, quality, and compliance with internal and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Product Development, Production, Quality, and Procurement-to support project execution and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate materials and propose innovative packaging solutions that improve performance and reduce environmental impact.
- Support new model development and ensure packaging readiness according to project schedules.
- Troubleshoot packaging issues and provide engineering solutions during production or customer feedback processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in packaging design (automotive, electronics, consumer products, or related industries is a plus).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, such as paper, plastics, foam, and returnable packaging.
- Knowledge of packaging standards, safety requirements, and testing methods.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- English communication skills are an advantage.
