Responsibilities
-Prepare and verify quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications (Electrical / Mechanical works)
-Develop and manage BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimation for projects
-Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget
-Prepare and review progress claims, payment certificates, and invoices
-Produce cost reports and analyze budget variances
-Coordinate with project teams, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
-Review and assess Variation Orders (VO) and change requests
-Conduct tender analysis and price comparisons from contractors and suppliers
-Support tender preparation, including documentation and cost breakdown
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
-Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QS, cost control, or estimation
-Knowledge of Electrical systems or Mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
-Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
-Understanding of BOQ, costing, and construction processes
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
-Good communication and teamwork abilities
