Responsibilities
General Work Description:
Primary responsibilities will be to perform social compliance audits in many different types of factories at the assigned customers’ sites, assessing and reporting, in accordance with Intertek’s policies and procedures.
This will be a travel-based position, with extensive travel to client sites required. Candidate must be comfortable traveling in Bangkok and, surrounding areas, as well as upcountry provinces.
*Other technical expert Auditors both fulltime and parttime are always welcome.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow Intertek’s Compliance Code, Policies and Procedures
- Represent the audit team and Intertek to clients.
- Develop audit plans.
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements for audits as applicable.
- Evaluate clients’ management systems through documentation review, onsite observation, and interviews.
- Identify and document areas of conformance and nonconformance.
- Write comprehensive reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Evaluate and approve client corrective actions.
- Submit time and expense reports in time, for approval.
- Train, mentor, witness (as part of the auditor qualification process) audit team-mates if requested.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education and Advanced coursework, technical training, or experience in ESG auditing: Environmental, Social (Labour rights, Health and Safety, Sustainability), Governance and Ethics of business.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance or related technical activity
- APSCA qualification (ASCA or CSCA level)
- 2nd and 3rd party auditing experience are preferred.
- Must have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 Lead auditor training.
- Knowledge in Food, Textile, and Chemical industries is a plus.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle in the performance of the official duties of the position.
