Responsibilities
• Visual Documentation: 3D renderings, mood boards, material palettes and presentation materials for clients’ projects, including predefined style packages and product portfolio.
• Specification Development: Create comprehensive specifications for all interior finishes, fixtures, furniture, and materials.
• Aesthetic and Functional Design: Ensure all interior designs are aesthetically cohesive, highly functional, and align with design brief & budget.
• Estimation Support: Work with the Price Estimation team by providing detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) and accurate specification data to support efficient and accurate pricing for client projects.
• Product Design Standardization: Develop, manage, and refine VESTA’s standardized interior design code, cabinet modules, and built-in components.
• AI & Design Output Efficiency: Apply generative AI to mock up interior concepts and produce quality, efficient visual outputs
• Designer Network Leverage: Utilize VESTA's existing designer network when necessary to meet high design output productivity demands
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in interior design, FF&E specification, or interior product development, preferably in residential projects.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in using AI-powered design tools (e.g., generative imaging) to enhance design ideation and visualization.
- Strong technical knowledge of interior construction methods, cabinet detailing, and material properties.
- High proficiency in 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit), AutoCAD, and presentation software.
- Proven ability to create systematic, repeatable design solutions and specification sheets.
