1. Strategic Communications Leadership

  • Translating school strategy into clear internal, parent-facing, and community-facing messages

  • Identifying key communication priorities for each term

  • Building a strong pipeline of communications content that reinforces strategic objectives

  • Identifying communication gaps, risks, and missed opportunities

  • Advising on message clarity, timing, tone, audience, and channel selection

  • Ensuring communications are proactive, not merely reactive

  • Helping leadership make the school’s strengths, learning culture, and community life more visible

  • Ensuring communications support parent trust, staff alignment, retention, admissions confidence, and school reputation

2. Advisory and Coaching Support for School Leadership

Act as a trusted communications partner to the Head of School, Principals, and school management team.

  • Supporting leadership communications to staff, parents, and the parent community

  • Preparing key messages, talking points, scripts, presentations, FAQs, and briefing notes

  • Coaching or advising school leaders on communication effectiveness where appropriate

  • Helping leaders communicate with clarity, warmth, confidence, and strategic intent

  • Anticipating parent questions, concerns, and possible misunderstandings

  • Respectfully challenging unclear or cluttered messaging

  • Helping leaders turn complex academic or operational updates into parent-friendly communication

3. Internal Alignment Communications

Create communications materials that help align internal stakeholders, including teachers, academic teams, school management, and operational teams.

  • Internal alignment presentations

  • Staff briefing decks

  • School strategy communication materials

  • Talking points for teachers and leaders

  • Internal updates on academic, pastoral, operational, or community priorities

  • Communication toolkits for departments, phases, or year groups

  • Materials that help staff understand and consistently communicate the school’s direction

The goal is to ensure staff are not only informed, but aligned, confident, and able to reinforce key school messages in their own interactions with parents and students.

4. Parent and Parent Community Communications

Develop clear, engaging, bilingual communications for parents and the parent community.

  • Parent presentations

  • Parent representative briefing materials

  • Parent update messages

  • Curriculum and academic explainers

  • Community engagement communications

  • Video blog scripts and concepts

  • Short-form parent communication formats

  • Parent meeting materials

  • FAQs and talking points for recurring parent concerns

The role should help SBS Rangsit move away from over-reliance on long emails and newsletters by creating more accessible, visual, video-led, and relationship-based communication formats.

5. Schoolwide Content Pipeline and Storytelling

Proactively identify and develop meaningful stories from across the school.

  • Academic learning and curriculum development

  • Bilingual learning in action

  • Early Years, Primary, and Secondary highlights

  • Student achievements and student spotlights

  • Sports, ECAs, arts, music, performances, competitions, trips, and events

  • Academic results, assessment progress, and learning milestones where appropriate

  • Teacher practice and professional learning

  • Parent community engagement

  • School values, culture, and community life

The role should help SBS Rangsit move from simply reporting activities to communicating meaning: what students are learning, why it matters, and how it reflects the school’s values and strategic direction.

6. Strategic Content Extraction: From Clutter to Clarity

The successful candidate must be able to extract clarity from complexity.

  • Listening to long or complex discussions and identifying the key message

  • Identifying which details matter and which can be removed
