Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to support the implementation, basic design, and maintenance of network and IT infrastructure. This role is suitable for engineers with 2–4 years of experience who can gather customer requirements, assist in solution design, and perform hands-on implementation under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Requirement & Basic Solution Design

- Work with senior engineers to gather customer requirements (technical & operational)

- Assist in translating requirements into basic network solutions

- Support preparation of simple network diagrams and configurations

- Provide technical input for proposals and implementation plans

2. Network Implementation & Configuration

- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points)

- Perform configuration such as VLAN, IP addressing, routing, and VPN

- Implement solutions based on approved design

3. Monitoring & Maintenance

- Monitor network performance and availability

- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and basic optimization

- Assist in identifying and resolving network issues

4. Troubleshooting & Support

- Provide Level 1–2 support for network-related incidents

- Diagnose issues using standard tools (ping, traceroute, logs)

- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required

5. Project Support

- Assist in project deployment (on-site / remote)

- Support testing activities such as FAT / SAT / UAT

- Ensure implementation follows design and project timeline

6. Documentation

- Maintain network documentation (IP plan, diagrams, configurations)

- Record changes, incidents, and maintenance activities

7. Continuous Learning

- Improve technical skills in networking and system integration

- Work towards certifications such as CCNA

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience:

- 2–4 years experience in network or IT infrastructure

- Experience in implementation, support, or small project environments

Certifications:

- CCNA or equivalent is preferred

Technical Skills:

Required:

- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLAN

- Routing fundamentals (Static, OSPF basic)

- Experience with routers and switches

- Basic services: DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN

Advantage:

- Basic firewall configuration

- Wireless network setup

- Windows Server or Linux fundamentals

- Network monitoring tools

Soft Skills:

- Able to communicate with customers to understand basic requirements

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Teamwork and willingness to work on-site

บริษัท แพลนเน็ต คอมมิวนิเคชั่น เอเชีย จำกัด (มหาชน) ก่อตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2537 ภายใต้ชื่อ บริษัท เทคโนโลยีเกตเวย์เอเชีย จำกัด ด้วยทุนจดทะเบียนจำนวน 2 ล้านบาท โดยนายประพัฒน์ รัฐเลิศกานต์ และนายทรีเวอร์ ทอมป์สัน ซึ่งมีความเชี่ยวชาญและประสบการณ์ในธุรกิจเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมากว่า 30 ปี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อประกอบธุรกิจให้คำปรึกษา พัฒนา และวางระบบสื่อสารผ่านดาวเทียม (Satellite Communication) สำหรับลูกค้าทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2541 บริษัทฯ ได้ทำการเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็นบริษัท แพลนเน็ต คอมมิวนิเคชั่น เอเชีย จำกัด

ปัจจุบัน แพลนเน็ตคอม ดำเนินธุรกิจหลักด้านการบูรณาการระบบสื่อสารทางไกล (System Integrator) ดังนี้ โครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านระบบสื่อสาร (Network Infrastructure) ระบบการสื่อสารแบบรวมศูนย์ (Unified Communications) และ การถ่ายทอดสัญญาณโทรทัศน์ผ่านระบบดิจิทัล (Digital Broadcasting) และยังได้ต่อยอดจากธุรกิจหลักโดยจดทะเบียนบริษัทย่อยเริ่มตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2557 จนถึงปัจจุบันโดยแบ่งเป็นบริษัทและธุรกิจดังนี้

1) PlanetFiber (แพลนเน็ตไฟเบอร์) ดำเนินธุรกิจการให้บริการอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงผ่านโครงข่ายใยแก้วนำแสง

2) PlanetCloud (แพลนเน็ตคลาวด์) ดำเนินธุรกิจด้านดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยี

3) PlanetUtility (แพลนเน็ตยูทิลิตี้) ดำเนินธุรกิจด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำ และพลังงานทางเลือก
