Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
- Plan and execute Maintenance related activities on tooling used for manufacturing of the product, in coordination with immediate superior to ensure all Manufacturing Plans are executed smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and guide a group of Technicians in the section and follow up tooling related activities in the department.
- Track tooling & Machine performance to ensure KPI commitments are maintained & Improved.
- To ensure Tooling is always maintained in excellent condition and improve die and machine utilization and quality of product.
- Keep record of tooling maintenance - through implementation of Documents.
- Proper and timely feedback to immediate superior for - function, quality, repair ang maintenance difficulties of tooling.
- Optimizing new tooling and design and give feedback to concerned departments.
- Review and analyze quality issues of running product and debug problems on tooling.
- Develop tool setup procedure and implement standard practices.
- Maintain tool history and perform preventive maintenance.
- Initiate and follow up corrective actions on quality issues, process improvements and design improvements.
- Improve Working Methods, House Keeping and Discipline in the Shop Floor. Practice safe Working Methods and handling of Tooling and Equipments. (Lean Activities)
- Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Required: Bachelor Degree in related Engineering field.
Skill Required:
- Effective Management and Communication Skill.
- Must be a good team worker and should be able to motivate the entire team
Experience: 6-8 years.
