Responsibilities
• Promote AI-based DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode)
• Build AI models (ML / NLP) using past defect data, design changes, and CAE results
• Develop automatic DRBFM sheets and risk extraction functions
• Predict potential failure modes caused by design changes
• Work closely with product designers to identify design changes and risks
• Present AI-detected risks in design review meetings
• Analyze process and quality data (sensor data, MES, SCADA, test data)
• Develop AI for anomaly detection, failure prediction, and root cause analysis
• Develop and operate AI systems using Python
• Implement and operate AI solutions on AWS (e.g. SageMaker) - Improve in-house AI tools
• Prepare technical documents and presentations in English and Thai
• Collaborate with Japanese engineers and external vendors
• In the future, lead joint research projects with Chulalongkorn University
Qualifications
Necessary Skill / Experience
• Age 30-49 years
• Any Gender
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Python for AI/ML (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Data analysis using Pandas and NumPy
• Basic understanding of design quality and manufacturing processes
• Experience implementing AI on cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Basic knowledge of DRBFM, FMEA, or quality management
• Conversional middle to high level English for technical discussions
• Basic skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and technical documentation
• Experience with SCADA, MES, or IoT systems will be preferable
• Basic knowledge of CAE (structural or thermal analysis) will be preferable
• Experience in process improvement or automation in manufacturing will be preferable
• Experience with DRBFM or design reviews will be preferable
• Japanese language ability will be preferable (N3–N1 level)
• AWS certifications related to Machine Learning or Data Analytics will be preferable
• Able to logically analyze design changes and failure causes will be preferable
• Strong interest in the intersection of design, quality, and AI will be preferable
• Good communicator who can connect design, quality, and AI teams will be preferable
• Self-motivated and able to learn new technologies independently will be preferable
