document the accounting requirements and objectives that the new system needs to address.
2. System Design Input: Provide insights and specifications for designing accounting modules,
ensuring they align with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
3. Integration with Existing Systems: Ensure the new system integrates seamlessly with
existing accounting systems and processes, facilitating smooth data transfer and consistency.
4. Data Accuracy and Validation: Establish processes and controls to ensure the accuracy and
integrity of financial data within the new system, including validation checks and data
reconciliation procedures.
5. Compliance and Standards: Ensure the new system complies with relevant accounting
standards (e.g., Thai GAAP) and regulatory requirements, incorporating necessary reporting
and disclosure features.
6. Chart of Accounts Setup: Design and implement the chart of accounts in the new system,
ensuring it meets the company’s financial reporting and management needs.
7. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in system testing phases, including user
acceptance testing (UAT), to verify that the accounting functionalities perform as expected
and identify any issues or discrepancies.
8. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for accounting procedures within
the new system, including user manuals, process flows, and control guidelines.
9. Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support during the system implementation
phase, addressing any accounting-related issues or concerns that arise.
10. Customization and Configuration: Work with IT to customize and configure the system to
meet specific accounting needs, such as unique reporting requirements or internal controls
