We are seeking a Social Media Specialist (Chinese Speaking) to join our dynamic digital agency team in Bangkok, Thailand. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our clients' online presence, engage their target audience, and drive business growth. Your role will play a crucial part in shaping our clients' digital branding and communication efforts.
In This Role, You’ll Get To
- Create and schedule high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and Facebook.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Account Executive, Creative, E-Commerce and Graphic Designer) to understand their objectives and adapt strategies as needed.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to optimize strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Manage social media budgets effectively and allocate resources for optimal results.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu is a plus.
- Strong understanding of China's social media landscape, culture, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese (HSK4 +).
- Creativity and a keen eye for visual content, with basic graphic design skills being a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Passion in Chinese culture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
