Responsibilities
Role Overview
Responsible for end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger, while supporting procurement processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Issue invoices, receipts, tax invoices, and credit notes
- Manage billing, collections, and aging reports
- Prepare VAT output reports and perform bank reconciliations
- Follow up withholding tax certificates
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
- Verify invoices and supporting documents against PO
- Record goods receipt and set up payables
- Manage payments and prepare withholding tax documents
- Prepare VAT input reports and submit tax filings (PND.1, 3, 53, PP.30 via E-Filing)
- Reconcile AP and bank accounts
3. General Ledger (GL)
- Record month-end adjustments and depreciation/amortization
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support audits
4. Procurement Support
- Prepare and review Purchase Orders (PO)
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and price comparison
- Track orders and deliveries
- Ensure procurement documentation complies with company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of taxation and accounting standards (experience in an accounting firm is a plus)
- Proficient in accounting software such as Peak, FlowAccount, SAP, Express, and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Strong coordination and communication skills
