Responsibilities :
Financial Operations (as they relate to Digital Asset Operations)
- Ownership of financial operations and treasury management for both cash & digital assets
- Manage bank and custody accounts, ensuring appropriate maintenance and signatory authority
- Calculate and forecast burn, revenue, other income and runway and accurately present current and future cash and token positions in real-time
- Identify automation opportunities and actively work with other teams to streamline processes in order to gain greater efficiency and transparency
Reporting and Compliance
- Streamline operations and ensure best practices and regulatory compliance, in collaboration with other teams
- Regularly report on cash position, liquidity forecasts, and counterparty risks to management of the company
- Establish and track core metrics that are essential to the financial health of the company
- Lead and monitor the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting and accounting policies and procedures
- Act as a primary senior point of contact within the company for internal and external financial and accounting queries
Strategic Planning and Forecasting
- Lead strategic liquidity and financial planning, focusing on cash and digital assets projections to support the company's growth and strategic objectives
- Develop forecasting models to predict liquidity needs and plan for asset value fluctuations, bearing in mind market trends and company goals
- Prepare meaningful analysis for strategic business decisions and model financial situations in close collaboration with the leadership team
- Provide insightful and quality financial advice to support the company's business decision-making
Cash and Liquidity Management
- Align liquidity management, including cash flow optimization and liquidity forecasting, with the company's broader investment and financing strategies
- Devise liquidity strategies to navigate the unique challenges of cryptocurrency assets
- Implement proactive liquidity monitoring and forecasting to manage crypto market volatility effectively
- Oversee, review and approve all digital asset movement within the Company's digital ecosystem
- Identify cost saving opportunities within Digital Asset Operations without compromising speed or customer service
Risk Management
- Establish and continuously refine risk management strategies to keep pace with the evolving digital asset markets
- Assess and monitor counterparty risks associated with the company's financial partners and service providers
- Conduct regular reviews of counterparty risk exposure and adjust risk management strategies as necessary
Staff Management
- Selects, trains, develops, motivates, sets performance standards, and evaluates members within the team.
- Continually communicates and reinforces expectations and business goals to team members.
- Determines work assignments, standard processes, and resource allocation to optimize team member efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
- 7 years+ of experience in financial management, particularly in financial operations.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements in Thailand.
- Background in financial reporting and compliance within regulated industries is highly advantageous.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting abilities.
- Expertise in liquidity management and risk mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in financial automation tools and process optimization techniques.
- Proactive attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership in developing and managing a team.
