Job Summary :The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of databases to ensure high availability, security, and reliability. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to optimize database systems that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
• Install, configure, and upgrade database software (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Manage database storage, performance tuning, and query optimization to ensure efficiency.
• Implement and monitor database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, availability, or security.
• Create and maintain database documentation, schemas, and access controls.
• Collaborate with developers to design, test, and deploy database solutions that support applications.
