Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy, Proposal Development & Sales Enablement
  • Work closely with Sales and Key Account teams to understand client briefs, business objectives, campaign needs, target audiences, and sales opportunities.
  • Analyze client context, target audience, market situation, category dynamics, competitor activities, and available data to identify the right strategic direction for Focus Media solutions.
  • Develop media strategies, proposal structures, proposal decks, key messages, sales arguments, and sales materials that clearly show how Focus Media supports client goals.
  • Translate consumer insights, campaign learnings, media information, and research findings into persuasive business narratives and practical client recommendations.
  • Strengthen the communication of Focus Media’s media value, audience value, scenario value, and commercial value in proposal and pitch materials.
  • Support client meetings, pitch presentations, proposal explanations, and strategic discussions when required.
  • Provide planning and strategic support for key accounts, important pitches, category development, and major sales opportunities.
2. Market Research, Insight Generation & Business Understanding
  • Lead or support research and insight projects that help improve media value, sales arguments, category understanding, and business decision-making.
  • Research, analyze, and summarize market trends, consumer behavior, media landscape, category movements, competitor information, brand communication, and internal data into practical insights.
  • Turn research findings and data analysis into reports, summaries, presentations, category decks, sales tools, or management materials.
  • Build or improve insight frameworks, category analysis templates, sales argument libraries, case study libraries, and media value tools.
  • Identify useful business implications from research reports, consumer data, campaign cases, market observations, and sales feedback.
3. Research Project Management & Cross-functional Coordination
  • Manage research or insight projects from brief clarification, research planning, methodology discussion, execution follow-up, quality control, analysis, to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, procurement, external research companies, agencies, vendors, or business partners to ensure project outputs are accurate, useful, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support internal alignment between Strategy, Sales, Key Account, Marketing, Operations, and management teams when planning-related inputs are required.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
4. Special Projects & Capability Building
  • Lead or support special projects assigned by the Strategy team or management.
  • Initiate useful research, tools, reports, templates, frameworks, or AI-enabled workflows that help improve sales performance and business understanding.
  • Support the development of internal knowledge assets, including industry solutions, proposal templates, case libraries, media value models, and sales enablement materials.
  • Coach or guide junior team members or interns when required.

Qualifications

Required Experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in media strategy, marketing strategy, advertising, media planning, sales support, proposal development, market research, consumer insight, or related fields.
  • Experience creating proposal decks, pitch decks, sales presentations, case studies, research reports, category decks, or sales enablement materials.
  • Experience working with Sales, Key Account, client-facing, strategy, marketing, research, or cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to research, analyze, synthesize insights, and turn information into practical business recommendations.
  • Basic understanding of OOH media, lift media, advertising campaigns, consumer behavior, media planning, and media value proposition is preferred.
  • Experience managing research projects or coordinating with external research companies, agencies, vendors, or business partners is an advantage.
  • Client-facing, pitching, or consultative presentation experience is an advantage.
Required Skills
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, business writing, proposal writing, and pitch deck structuring skills.
  • Ability to translate data, research, and consumer insights into clear sales arguments, practical recommendations, and persuasive business narratives.
  • Good analytical thinking, market research, insight synthesis, and data storytelling skills.
  • Good understanding of media planning, campaign logic, client objectives, brand communication, and commercial opportunities.
  • Good coordination skills and ability to work with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and clients when required.
  • Sales enablement mindset with the ability to support Sales and Key Account teams effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with clear priorities.
  • Ability to work independently on planning assignments and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Ability to guide junior team members or coordinate project contributors when needed.
Tools & Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, or other presentation tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management, basic analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to use AI tools for research, proposal drafting, content ideation, data analysis, translation, knowledge management, or workflow improvement is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with market research tools, media reports, consumer data sources, or industry databases such as Clear Decisions (CMV) by Nielsen, Euromonitor, Statista, MarkLines, or similar platforms is preferred.
