Essential Responsibilities

• Carry out research, proof of concept (POC), biological analysis, data collection, and result interpretation using descriptive statistics, lab execution systems (e.g., LIMS, iLES, ELN), and project management tools.

• Perform literature search and data investigations as they relate to the research and/or as assigned.

• Plan and undertake experiments, trials, and data analysis in the controlled lab-based environment, greenhouse, and field.

• Can independently follow established standard protocols. Record observations accurately, report results, and present the work independently.

• Due to the dynamic environment in which research exists, one must show flexibility in performing principal duties, creativity, and responsibilities as research projects evolve.

• Organize and maintain laboratory logs to track samples/specimens and lab inventory.

• Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.

• Troubleshoot the experiments and common laboratory problems.
