About the role :-
The Maintenance Engineer ensures machinery, equipment, and facility systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Engineer creates and implements preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoots breakdowns, repairs technical faults, and manages maintenance budgets.
Key tasks include managing spare parts, supervising technical teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
What you'll be doing :-
- The Maintenance Engineer shall do the following to accomplish the above:
- Develop, schedule, and perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
- Diagnose technical faults, repair machinery, and quickly resolve breakdowns.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment, maintenance tasks, repairs, and stock levels.
- Ensure all equipment and maintenance activities comply with industry standards and health/safety regulations.
- Oversee maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Identify and implement improvements to optimize machine performance and reduce costs.
- Anything the Maintenance Manager deems necessary
Qualifications
The Maintenance Engineer shall have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Able to work collaborative with individuals in the organization in a team environment.
- Good understanding of quality systems such as ISO, TS or AS
- Reasonable command of the English language, both written and spoken.
