Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Search Optimization strategy across both traditional search engines (e.g., Google) and AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini)
- Conduct keyword and intent research for both search engines and AI-driven queries
- Create and optimize content that ranks on Google and is selected by AI for answers
- Perform On-page SEO optimization (title, meta description, headings, internal linking)
- Implement and manage structured data / schema markup
- Handle Technical SEO (site speed, indexing, crawlability, site structure)
- Monitor and analyze performance:
- Organic traffic
- Keyword rankings
- AI visibility (mentions, citations, usage in AI responses)
- Collaborate with content, product, and development teams
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in SEO or related field
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and search intent
- Basic understanding of AI / LLM concepts (e.g., how AI generates answers)
- Strong content writing skills (clear, structured, concise)
- Experience with tools:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs / SEMrush (or similar)
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of structured data (schema.org)
- Experience with AI tools / prompt engineering
- Basic coding skills (HTML, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience in ranking featured snippets or AI-generated answers
