Job – Purpose & Description
The Group Finance Director provides strong leadership in all aspects of finance, corporate governance, compliance and is ultimately responsible for the financial management of the group of (3) companies.
One legal entity is registered in Thailand, one in Singapore and one in Australia.
As part of the Leadership Team (LT), this role acts as the most senior business partner to the CEO, VP/GM and LT, leading transformative change to achieve bold strategic growth plans and deliver increased shareholder value.
The Group Finance Director is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs through robust strategic financial planning, systemized implementation & integration, day to day direct management and disciplined controlling of all the finance related activities of the business.
Key Accountabilities (Including but not limited to…)
- Lead and Manage:
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting
- Financial and statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Cash flow management and ensure appropriate treasury controls
- Hedging and foreign currencies (FX)
- Overseeing company's banking and borrowing arrangements
- Taxation affairs, liaising with the external accounting/tax specialists as necessary
- Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
- External Auditor relationships and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- The provision of financial support and insights to enable the LT to make critical business decisions
- Costing, Pricing and Margin analysis for the commercial team and establish discount controls
- Ongoing review of costs, controls, and disciplined reconciliation by the team
- The presentation of financial results and insights to the Board and Shareholders
- The company’s financial systems. Enhance and evolve to keep pace with growth
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
- Review all formal finance related policies and procedures
