Responsibilities
- Develop policies and strategic plans for debt collection aligned with organizational goals
- Analyze Aging Reports to segment debtors and define appropriate collection strategies (e.g., bad debt, overdue accounts)
- Supervise and provide guidance to Collection Officers in negotiation and debt recovery processes
- Prepare and present Collection Performance Reports to management
- Coordinate and follow up on payments with hospitals and clinics (both public and private sectors)
- Work closely with Finance and Sales teams to resolve payment-related issues
Qualifications
- Male or Female, age 35–45 years
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in debt collection
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in collections
- Able to travel upcountry and experienced in coordinating with both government and private sector clients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and drive team performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, especially in high-pressure situations or when dealing with difficult debtors
