Responsibilities

  • SSC & Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead the Thailand HR Shared Service Center (SSC) team; oversee the full employee lifecycle—including recruitment, onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding—for both local staff and expatriates.
  • Operational Excellence: Provide guidance to business units within Thailand to ensure all HR operations are orderly, efficient, and aligned with company-wide standards.
  • HR Compliance & Auditing: Conduct periodic audits of HR practices to ensure full compliance with Thai Labor Laws and internal corporate policies.
  • HQ Liaison & Strategy: Maintain a clear communication channel with Global Headquarters. Monitor local industry trends and regulatory changes in Thailand to provide proactive suggestions for policy improvements.
  • External Relations: Act as the primary representative for the company in coordinating with Thai government agencies, including the Department of Labour, Immigration Bureau, Law firms, and Educational institutions.
  • General Management: Manage and execute other HR-related projects and departmental tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. At least 8 years of professional HR experience in the manufacturing sector, with a strong preference for candidates from Chinese manufacturing environments.
  3. Fluent in English and Thai; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Thai Labor Law, social security regulations, and HR compliance standards.
  5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing HR teams.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
  7. Proven ability to handle external relations with government agencies, such as the Labor Department and Immigration Bureau.
  8. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
