Responsibilities
- Conduct research on automotive market trends, industry developments, and future mobility directions in Thailand and Asia-Pacific markets.
- Analyze consumer demand, vehicle usage patterns, and customer preferences to support product planning and development strategies.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking of vehicle models, including product positioning, specifications, pricing, and key strengths of competing brands.
- Research and evaluate market positioning opportunities for current and future vehicle products, providing recommendations for product definition and planning.
- Support product portfolio planning, vehicle layout strategy, and product mix optimization for overseas markets.
- Collect, interpret, and summarize local automotive regulations, industry standards, government policies, and market requirements relevant to vehicle development.
- Monitor customer feedback, market sentiment, media reports, and online reviews to generate actionable insights for product improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Participate in product definition activities and support the implementation of product planning requirements throughout the vehicle development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in market research, product planning, product strategy, automotive consulting, or related automotive industry functions.
- Familiarity with market analysis, consumer research, competitive benchmarking, product planning, and product definition methodologies.
- Strong analytical, research, and logical thinking skills with the ability to interpret market data and generate strategic insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) for business communication; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
- Able to work independently in a dynamic, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
