Stamping Process Engineer (Vehicle Division) - BYD AUTO (THAILAND) CO., LTD.

1. Manage stamping-related projects and ensure on-time production delivery.

2. Record production issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions including die modification.

3. Coordinate material supply issues and handle customer complaints effectively.

4. Prticipate in new line setup, process planning, and continuous process optimization.

5. Research, introduce, and promote new technologies, materials, and processes.

6. Prepare, review, and optimize process documents and BOM to ensure standardization.

7. Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement process changes.

8. Optimize plant layout, reduce cost, and implement energy-saving initiatives.

9. Design and develop stamping dies, fixtures, and process solutions for new projects.

10. Provide process training and technical guidance to production teams.

11. Support equipment maintenance, preventive actions, and system improvement.

12. Analyze production data, implement improvements, and reduce operational costs.

13. Complete other tasks assigned by department or BU leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in automotive manufacturing stamping process
• Familiar with stamping process, die structure, metal forming, and production workflow.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use CAD tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, UG/NX, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and IATF16949 standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Able to communicate in Chinese or English is an advantage.
