Responsibilities
Job Description :
1. Analyze and improve production processes based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
2. Analyze and reduce waste in production processes.
3. Conduct Continuous Improvement / Kaizen projects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
4. Analyze Cycle Time, Takt Time, Line Balancing, and Capacity to improve production efficiency.
5. Improve Plant Layout, Material Flow, and Workstations to suit production processes.
6. Conduct Time Studies and analyze Manpower to improve manpower utilization efficiency.
7. Analyze and solve problems using Root Cause Analysis methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and PDCA.
8. Manage and monitor Improvement Projects from problem analysis, trials, and evaluation through to actual implementation.
9. Coordinate with relevant departments to drive and implement process improvements.
10. Monitor and evaluate project results, prepare KPI Reports, and present improvement recommendations in terms of Productivity, Cost, Cycle Time, Manpower, and Waste Reduction.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- 1.Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), Production Engineering (PE), or a related field.
- 2.2-5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- 3.Good knowledge and understanding of Work Study & Time Study, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, OEE Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Cost Reduction, Process Improvement, Plant Layout & Material Flow Analysis, and FMEA.
- 4.Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Power Query, Dashboard). Knowledge of Power BI and Minitab will be considered an advantage.
- 5.Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and presentation.
- 6.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
- 7.Good English communication skills. Chinese communication skills will be considered an advantage.
