Responsibilities
- Create and maintain material master records in SAP.
- Maintain key material fields including type, plant, unit of measure, and standard price.
- Extend materials to new plants, company codes, and storage locations as required.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of material master data.
- Validate material master requests against standard naming conventions, material classification rules, duplicate checks, and correct units of measure and conversions.
- Maintain master data governance rules and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare reports and consolidate data on master data performance and other requested reports.
- Support internal and external parties regarding master data accuracy and traceability.
- Collaborate closely with all related departments.
- Act as the primary contact person for master data-related issues, including Global Costing, COUPA, and H4 Hana.
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and master data conversions.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for master data changes.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in SAP or experience with other ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
