Responsibilities
Quality System
• Oversee and ensure the quality management system at Golden Lime PCL.
• Create, maintain, and monitor QA/QC systems, including document control and auditing.
• Manage and verify product/ production quality related document from product compliance statements, certifications, audit reports, specifications to quality agreements and relevant customer statements in the quality WI/procedure.
Quality inspection
• Define inspection standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods, and reject non-conforming products.
• Manage the laboratory testing both routine and special assignment.
• Maintain and improve accuracy and reliability of Lab results.
• Conduct periodic quality system review and process audits to ensure compliance of quality system in every working process of Golden Lime PCL.
Continuous improvement
• Work with Plant Manager to handle non-conforming material, root cause analysis and mistake proofing to handle customer complaints to achieved yearly target.
• Collect and analyses data to assess product and customer specific for quality improvement programs.
Supplier & customer management
• Review the customer's specifications and undertake relevant training to QC&QA team, production team.
• Support Sales team on providing data to customers on quality matters, Interface with customer quality representatives (if required).
• Report all identified quality issues and cooperate closely with the management to ensure immediate action until those problems have been solved.
Team development
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors, technicians, and train staff in quality standards.
• Create the career path and development program for QA/QC team
Health, Safety and Environment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
Others
• Supports others company goals.
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or another related field. (Master’s degree in chemical engineering is a plus)
• Minimum 7 years working experience in QC & QC for manufacturing, (Experience in managerial level is a plus)
• TIS & ISO, Halal and other standards
• Experienced in Lime, Cement, Sugar or Steel industry is a plus.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, writing)
