The Construction Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of construction projects, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to create effective and sustainable design solutions.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and oversee construction design plans and specifications.

Conduct site assessments to evaluate project feasibility and requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.

Utilize software and tools for modeling and simulation to visualize design concepts.

Review and analyze design proposals and make recommendations for improvements.

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction design or a related area is preferred. Professional licensure (PE) is an advantage.
