Android Developer - IoT Systems
We’re looking for an Android Developer to help us build and maintain mobile applications that control IoT devices. If you’re excited about bridging hardware and software, this role is for you!
Core Development Work:
• Design and develop Android applications to monitor and control IoT devices.
• Create intuitive interfaces for device position management and control.
• Implement real-time communication between mobile apps and IoT devices.
• Build robust offline functionality and data synchronization.
• Optimize app performance across diverse Android devices and OS versions.
Technical Responsibilities:
• Implement secure device pairing and communication channels.
• Create smooth animations for device position visualization.
• Handle location services and device positioning features.
• Develop and maintain APIs for device communication.
Qualifications
Android Developer - IoT Systems
Quality & Collaboration:
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Work closely with IoT engineers to ensure seamless device integration.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create user-friendly control interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with version control (Git).
Bonus Skills:
• Exposure to IoT devices or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of MQTT protocol.
• Background in real-time systems.
• Experience with C++ or Rust.
• Understanding of 3D positioning and motion controls.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components.
