Technician - Lumentum International (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Lumentum is seeking MFG Process Technician. This position will be responsible for support and development of complex optical wavelength selective switch modules from end-to-end. The role will combine technical improvement and problem-solving skills to integrate new designs and drive manufacturing readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering team during the process validation phase to facilitate the launch of new production lines.
• Expedite Build Requests (BR) and special build requests as directed by engineers.
• Assist in the execution of Design of Experiments (DOE) and other research and development (R&D) experiments, managing operator responsibilities for each process during special requirements.
• Help the production team resolve process issues and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with process engineers to improve process yields.
• Design and validate tools/fixtures for Kaizen initiatives before their implementation in production.
• Monitor production and provide detailed yield reports.
• Manage Gauge R&R (GRR) studies and summarize reports for engineers.
• Oversee Statistical Process Control (SPC) and address any process-related issues.
• Support engineers in performing process Failure Analysis (FA) and debugging.

• Vocation diploma or higher graduated
• Strong organizational skill and the ability to work under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities.
• Able to communication both verbally and writing in English.
• Good relationship to work internally with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Data analysis skills – familiarity with databases, statistical analysis, and process control
• Experience with LabView, C#, Macro, MES and JMP Software would be considered an advantage.
• Experience in telecommunication product such as fiber optic line card, module and/or component would be considered an advantage.
